We bid farewell to Paul Dean Hamilton (Charlotte, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 11, 2025 at the age of 87. Paul touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the sacred silence of farewell, Paul is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Hamilton and Irene Carswell Hamilton; his stepfather Norman Oates; and his siblings, Larry Hamilton, Judith Martin and Kenny Mills.

He is survived by: his children, Wyatt Dean Hamilton (Sylvia) and Whitney Hamilton Ruth (Rodney); his grandchildren, Rodney Christian Ruth, III, Anniston Campbell Ruth, Wyatt Dean Hamilton, Jr. and Sienna Raine Hamilton; and his sister Sandy West. He is also survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Church (13110 Moss Rd, Charlotte, NC 28273).
