He is survived by: his children, Dannielle McFadden of North Carolina, Michael James of Pennsylvania, Keenan Cash of North Carolina, Kendall Cash of North Carolina and Megan Paul of New York; and his siblings, Emanuel "Ralph" Marcano of New York, Alwyn James of New York, Volta James of New York, Simon James of Trinidad, Tobago, Monica James of New York, Brenda James-Roberts of Delaware and Paula Huizinga. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
