Peggy Roach Bodenheimer Obituary
We bid farewell to Peggy Roach Bodenheimer of Charlotte, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 3, 2025 at the age of 86. Peggy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Peggy may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Peggy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Roach and Elizabeth Betsy Kilpatrick Roach; and her husband Jimmy Van Bodenheimer. She is survived by: her daughters, Ivy Renee Taucher of Charlotte, NC and Johnnie Elizabeth Parker Gadson (Andray Gadson) of Pine Tops, NC; her brother Robert Roach (Lindy Kernodle Roach) of Clemmons, NC; her grandchildren, Baden Christian Taucher, Ilse Grace Taucher and Roberta Draughn; and her great grandchild Carson Ivory Powell.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Union Cross Moravian Church (4295 High Point Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27107).
