She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Isaac Davis and Mallie Shelton Davis. She is survived by: her daughter Tonna; her son-in-law Neal Painter; her grandchildren, Chesley Oxendine, Isaac Oxendine, Amanda Oxendine (Chad Webb), Joshua Painter (Diana Rizo), Haley Kinser (William Kinser Jr.) and Kelsey Painter; her great grandchildren, Cayden Oxendine, Caleb Webb, Isabella Webb, Emma Painter, Luka Painter, Tripp Kinser and Daphne Kinser; her husband James Allen Kimmons; her siblings, Tommy Davis and Lillian Creed; and her daughter Miriam Anne Oxendine.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Calendar Denver United Methodist Church (3910 N Nc 16 Business Hwy, Denver, NC 28037).
