With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Penelope Raptis (Charlotte, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Serafim Raptis; her son George Raptis; her parents, George Mantis and Maria Mantis; her children, Nia, Voula, Tommy and Nick; and her grandchildren, John, Jacob, Thomas, Alexis, JoJo, Lea and Kosta.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered in memory of Penelope to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 600 East Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28203.
