He was predeceased by: his parents, George Binette and Mary Binette (Lewandowski); and his siblings, George Binette and Nona Swanson. He is survived by: his wife Janet (Strand); his son Joseph Binette (Randy Jacquemin); his stepdaughters, Holly Hawk (Jodi Gentile) of Torrington and Kara Farina (August Farina) of Torrington; his grandchildren, Michaela McNutt (Kyle Hilliard), Javen Watson, Lexi Hawk, Jared Farina, Aidan Farina, Lavinia Farina and Dominic Deschenes; and his sister Diane Meda (Albert). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
