He is survived by: his parents, Richard Louis Bartell and Hattie Cheek Bartell; his wife Keema Mingo; his children, Vanessa Bartell, Sean Mancini, Tyler Mingo and Caleb Mingo; his grandchildren, Aubrey Nelums, Kh'Amari Brewster, Ky'Mani Brewster, Kh'Alani Brewster and Kha'Omi Brewster; and his aunts and uncles, Tometta Walker, John Cheek, Victor Bartell, Mary Bartell, Geraldine Garner, Eva Bartell-Cheek, Minnie Bartell Turnage, Keith Bartell and Kenneth Bartell. He is also survived by extended family members, close friends.
