It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robbie Best Leach of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Kinston, North Carolina, who passed away on May 29, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father James William Best; her husband Hamer Jackson Leach of Raeford, N. C.; her daughter Laura Leach Whitley of Asheville, N. C.; and her siblings, James W. Best, Jr. of Kinston, N. C. and Peggy Curlee of Winston-Salem, N. C..
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Hauser of Winston-Salem, N. C. and Ellen Barker of Charleston, S. C.; her son-in-law David Whitley of Asheville, N. C.; and her grandchildren, Bryn Hauser, Byron Hauser, Jordan Barker and Jackson Barker.
