He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Cordes and Anne McGettrick Cordes; and his brother Frederick Condes. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Cordes; his children, Christine Whaley (Craig), Karen Perez (Fred), Kathy Kerzner (Scott) and Dan Cordes; his brother David Cordes (Gloria); and his grandchildren, Benjamin Perez, Eleanor Perez, Ryan Kerzner and Jack Kerzner.
The family feels very strongly that in lieu of flowers they would like for people to donate to the Samaritan's Purse Ministries.
