He was predeceased by: his mother Bette Carraway; his wife Debi Carder; and his siblings, Coleen Carraway Marshall and Bertram Reid Carraway II. He is survived by: his daughter Kelly Carraway Straub (Bob Straub); his son-in-law Bob Straub; his granddaughters, Sydney and Camryn Straub; and his sister Kathy Carraway Bailey (Robert Bailey). He is also survived by his eight nieces and nephews, and eleven great-nieces and nephews.
