He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Ambrose Hanyak and Matilda Hurney Hanyak; and his siblings, Joe, Fran Hanyak and Marie Banick.
He is survived by: his wife Jeannine Ouimet Hanyak; his daughters, Michele Goldner (Michael) of Charlotte, Renee Abee of Newton and Colette Shepard of Syracuse, NY.; and his brothers, Tom Hanyak of New York, Raymond Hanyak of Indiana and Jimmy Hanyak of Florida.
