He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Boliver McClure, Sr. and Laura Wood McClure; his wife Donna Duke McClure; and his brother Hal Wood McClure. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer McClure (Steven) of Charlotte; his stepdaughter Crystal Treadaway of Charlotte; his daughters, Jessica McClure Beard (Bradley Beard) of Charlotte and Jena McClure Richter (Matthew Richter) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Hailey Beard, Ella, Maggie Richter, Taylor Beard, Marcus Richter, Mason Beard and Maddox Richter; his nephew Justin McClure (Casey McClure); his mother-in-law June Robinson (Gene Robinson); his sister-in-law Melanie Ervin; and his former wife Shirley McClure.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Lake Pointe Hall (4330 Weddington Rd, Matthews, NC 28105).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dementia Society of America.
