He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Murphy and Carol Woodlock Murphy. He is survived by: his children, Ryan Murphy and Madison Little of Charlotte; his siblings, Nancy of Manchester, Martha (Dylan) of Pittsboro, NC, Sean (Erin) of Charlotte, Bill (Tina) of Los Angeles and Dan (Marie) of Bradford, Massachusetts.; and his siblings' children, Leia (John) of Manchester, NH, Brianne (Bror) of Oslo, Norway, Ruthie of Pittsford, NC, Dan (Kourtney) of Bradford, Massachusetts, Jack (Michelle) of Wakefield, Massachusetts and Donovan of Charlotte.
