He was predeceased by: his daughter Mary Reilly; his parents, Tom and Catherine; and his siblings, Elaine, Shirley and Tom.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Reilly; his children, Patty Gemmill (Pete), Mitch Reilly (Beth), Ken Reilly, Mike Reilly (Jo Beth) and Denise Alridge (Spencer); his grandchildren, Matthew, Bryan, Mary, Robert, Margret, Allie, Evan, Will and Carly; his great grandchildren, Sophia, Boston, Saylor, Huxley, Thomas, Madeline, Penelope, Nina and Nico; and his sister Winnie.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Matthew Catholic Church (8015 Ballantyne Commons Pkwy, Charlotte, NC 28277). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Gabriel's Columbarium.
The family requests memorials be sent to the American Heart Association and/or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
