He was predeceased by: his mother Irma Christensen Loyear; his son Marc Loyear; and his siblings, Margie Moen, Joanne Jacobson, Virginia Smith and Glenn Loyear.
He is survived by: his father George Loyear; his wife Rachel Loyear; and his children, Michelle Airington, Lee Anne Macklin, Danielle Dameron and Rachelle Loyear. He is also survived by father and grandfather, leaving behind 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
