He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Rogers and Edith Tucker Rogers Starnes; and his siblings, Wanda Wentz (Dick) and George Starnes (Arana). He is survived by: his wife Laura Shipman Rogers; his children, Amy Marie Rogers and Michael Lewis Rogers of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Kevin and Carrie; his great grandchild Caiden; his family Sindy Shipman; his siblings-in-law, Pinehurst and Adam Shipman; his sibling's children, Weddington, Marsha Gray (David) and Shana Klitsch (Tim); and his great-nephew Reed. He is also survived by cousins, multiple dear friends and special neighbors.
