Ruby Jackson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 30, 2025, at the age of 89, Ruby Jackson of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruby Jackson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Furman Chaple Watson, Sr. and Mattie Pauline Watson; her husband John Edward Jackson; and her siblings, Clelia, Edith, James, Herman, Elbert, Charles and Furman.

She is survived by: her siblings, Sara Watson Cochrane and Douglas Watson; her daughters, Paige McKnight of Charlotte and Patti Harris (John) of Acworth, Georgia.; her grandchildren, Jeffrey McKnight, Courtney Harris Long (Andrew) and Jackson Harris; and her great grandchildren, Cole McKnight, Anastasia, Arthur, Louie and Catalina.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Carmel Baptist Church (1145 Pineville-Matthews Rd, Matthews, NC 28105).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Carmel Baptist Church.
