Sage will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Sage by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Sage is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Sage’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dale Brook. She is survived by: her children, Deanne Fuller (Andy), Debra Brook (Jeff) and Dara Whittle (Jake); her grandchildren, Jonah, Julian, Jett, Althea and Isaac; and her sister Ruth (Tom). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Unitarian Universalist Community (234 N Sharon Amity Rd, Charlotte, NC 28211).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Planned Parenthood, Compassion & Choices or the Unitarian Universalist Community of Charlotte.
