She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl W. Nelson and Viola Vanstrom Nelson; her sisters, Helen, June and Glenace; and her former husband C. Thomas Gregg.
She is survived by: her children, G. Timothy (Deborah), Robert and Carolyn Lewis (James); her granddaughters, Jennifer Kendall (Mark) and Claire Black (Michael); her great grandchild Hannah Lee Kendall; her sister Marie Maxwell; and her husband Gordon W. Black.
Memorials can be made to the Carl and Viola V. Nelson Scholarship Fund through the Chautauqua Regional Foundation, or the Falconer or Prendergast Libraries.
