He is survived by: his wife Karen; his sons, Samuel III (Marissa), Jacob (Erin) and Andrew; his grandchildren, Emmy and Jonah; and his siblings, David Killian, Mary Bowman (David), Carl Killian, Steve Killian and Fred Killian (Elisha). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
