He was predeceased by: his parent Heyward Ray Grigg; and his brother Daniel Grigg. He is survived by: his mother Ella Mae Costner Grigg of Cherryville; his close friend Kathryn "Kat" Shaw of Belmont; his son Mason Dennis; his aunt Brenda Fitch (Dewey) of Cherryville; and his uncle Carmie Grigg of Shelby.
