It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Jackson of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on December 7, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, LaNelle Attwood Ragan and Herbert H. Ragan, Jr.; and her grandson Walter Kent Jackson. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Donald Jackson; her sons, Michael Steele Jackson (Katy) and John Brooks Jackson (Julie); her grandchildren, Logan Scott Jackson, Penn Harper Jackson and Graham Foster Jackson; her sister Sarah Ragan Lea Caplan (Stan); and her cousins, Dr. Harvie Marks "Mark" Attwood (Deej) and Toni Bradford (Thomas).
In lieu of flowers, memorials should be sent to her favorite charities, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 and the Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital, 1000 Blythe Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28203.
