She was predeceased by: her husband John Gordy; her parents, Avery Welborn and Mamie Welborn; her son Jeff Rose; and her sisters, Shirley Copeland and Frances Dean.
She is survived by: her son Kent Rose (Amy); her grandchildren, Brittany Rose, Kristina Sleeper (Ian), Matt Rose (Kimberly), Kara Garvey, Taylor Moore (Jared), Sax Rose and Christian Rose; her great grandchildren, Hadley, Jason, Liam and Logan; her nephew Gerald Copeland; and her niece Tammy Smith (Bill).
