Suzette leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Suzette’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Suzette will carry forward her memory in their hearts.

She was predeceased by: her mother Jean Gladden Johnston of Charlotte; and her sister Melanie Johnston. She is survived by: her father Hoyt Caldwell Johnston of Charlotte; her husband David Lee Barker; her son Derrick Barker; and her brothers, Wesley Johnston (Lee) and Eric Johnston (Jessica). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
