He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lonnie and Inell Garrett; his great-grandparent Lucy Brown; his grandparents, James Hayes Cooper and Patty Jo Wimbush; his great-uncle Clifford Murphy; his great-aunts, Bernardine Murphy and Marilyn Henderson; his uncle Jeff Cooper; his cousin Floyd Wimbush Jr.; his grandmother Geraldine Denwood; and his aunts, Dawn Flippins and Regina Strange.

He is survived by: his parents, Antonio Wimbush of Indianapolis, IN and EdTrina Hollis of Charlotte, NC; his daughter Taraji Wimbush (True King Wimbush) of Charlotte, NC; his sister Arrianna Martin (Marquis) of Michigan City, IN; and his grandfather Hollis of Gary, IN. He is also survived by Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.

A memorial fund will be set up in his honor for his surviving children.
