It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tamara W. (Weaver) Blattner (Charlotte, North Carolina), who passed away on June 2, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles O. Weaver and Martha W. Weaver; and her husband Allan Joseph Blattner. She is survived by: her brother Charles Stewart Weaver (Jean); her children, Kristan Mackey Gehrman, Jennifer Mackey Zelinski (Kenneth Corkren) and James Gallatin Mackey III; her grandchildren, Kimberly Elaine Franklin (Trent), Matthew Daniel Zelinski, Hailey Anne Zelinski, Kaitlyn Suzanne Gehrman, William Charles Gehrman, Jake Henry Gehrman, Caroline Lanier Mackey and William Connor Mackey; and her great grandchildren, Sarah Elaine Franklin and Sutton Elizabeth Franklin.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of McEwen Funeral Services-Pineville (10500 Park Rd, Charlotte, NC 28210).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tamara's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (http://www.stjude.org.).
