She is survived by: her significant other John Randolph; her sons, Marvin Melton, Jr., Darin Melton (Tracey) of Ludowici, GA and Kevin Melton; her stepdaughter Carolyn Morman (Wadesboro); her siblings, Daisey Hardy of Charlotte, NC and Welton Sturdivant (Barbara) of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Angela, Amanda, Marquise, Christian and Elijah; her great grandchildren, Angel, Erionna, Romello, Myonna, Mellodie, Sanquise and Tavaria; her great great grandchildren, Amireah and Amari; her goddaughter Alice Grier (Peaches); and her close friends, Mary, Reggie, Audrey, Charles, Thelma, Don, Donna, Chris, Amanda, David, Liam, Kason and Brandon.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the A. E. Grier & Sons (2310 Statesville Ave, Charlotte, NC 28206). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
