He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Dale Hanford and Faye Marie McKinley; and his wife Branislava Peralta-Ramos Hanford (Branka). He is survived by: his former wife Louise Carletti Hanford; his daughters, Lesly Ann Maxwell and Ann Kathryn Hanford Fields; his grandchildren, Matthew Thomas Hanford, Madison McKinley Maxwell, Michael Olmstead Maxwell, Jr., McKenna Lowell Maxwell, Caroline Elizabeth Fields and Charles "Nicholas" Fields (Sydney); and his stepchildren, Alessandra (Peralta-Ramos), Jarger (Maarten) and Sergio Peralta-Ramos.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's in honor of Thomas J. Hanford.
