He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Samuel Knox, Sr. and Bessie Mae Patton Knox; and his siblings, Willie, Walter, Roy, Floyd, Lyle, Otis, Donnie, Billie Ray Knox and Dorothy Gettys.
He is survived by: his sons, Tyrone Knox of Charlotte, NC. and Vincent Romell Knox (Lorraine) of Charlotte, NC.; his wife Gloria Marrow Knox; his grandchildren, Japre Tivok Knox, Brandon Thomas and Katrina Smith; and his sisters-in-law, Hattie Knox, Geraldine Knox and Theressa Wilkerson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church (7237 Tuckaseegee Rd, Charlotte, NC 28214). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
