Tommy Lee Cassady Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tommy Lee Cassady of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on February 5, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lewis Cassady, Sr. and Lillie Mae Keziah Cassady (Peggy); his siblings, John Lewis Cassady, Jr. of Fernley, NV and Sarah Jane Cassady Wallace; his half-brothers, Marion Cassady and Rufus Cassady (Rudy); and his sister-in-law Alice Elizabeth Wamsley (Tom).
He is survived by: his wife Jane Carolyn Cathey Cassady; his children, Cathey Anne Cassady (Lindsay Reed Levine) of Fair Play, SC and Mark Wesley Cassady (René Phelps Cassady) of Mooresville, NC; his grandchildren, Morgan Alexandra Cassady Poulston (Jamie Earl Poulston) of Palm Bay, Florida and Cameron Wesley Cassady (Savannah Haley Hamilton) of Mooresville, NC; his daughter Lora Gayle Rector (Gene Rector); his stepbrother William Henry Rice (Dot) of Gordonsville, Virginia; and his brother-in-law Joe H. Cathey Jr. (Peggy). He is also survived by cousins, nephews, and nieces.
