He was predeceased by: his father Vance. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Ruth; his children, Melanie Dortschy (Bill Campoli), Karen Burr (Jim) and Vance Cornelius McGee III (Helen); his grandchildren, Vance Cornelius McGee IV (Nikki), Micah Paul McGee (Jennifer), Alexander Peter Dortschy, Kristina Juliana Dortschy, Amanda Isabella Dortschy, Katherine Li Burr, Callie Ann McGee of Georgia and Jared Vance McGee; and his great grandchildren, Malachi James McGee, Whitley Claire McGee, Micah Abram McGee, Vance Cornelius McGee V "Mac" and Samuel Miles McGee.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Trinity UMC in his honor.
