Victoria Avery Carr Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Victoria Avery Carr of Charlotte, North Carolina. Victoria, born on October 6, 1950, passed away on September 23, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Victoria Avery Carr to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Turner McCall and Helen Lorraine Avery (Winston); her husband James "Jim" Allen Carr; her sister Linda Avery; and her sister-in-law Kathy Warner (John).

She is survived by: her children, James "Aaron" Carr and Elizabeth "Beth" Mae Carr; her grandchildren, Jaedon Elizabeth Carr and Zion Kingston Carr; her siblings, Helen Moore (Robert) and Tim Avery (Kay); and her siblings-in-law, Scott Carr (Susan) and Barbara Woodall. She is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews, and many great-nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 2:30 PM at the St. Giles Presbyterian Church (2027 Emerywood Dr, Charlotte, NC 28210).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Samaritan's Purse.
