He is survived by: his children, Edwin Koehler (Tamara) and Carrie Miller; his grandchildren, Jeremie A. Koehler, Caleb Koehler, Aliza Koehler, Jasmin Miller and Peyton Miller; and his brothers, Roger Koehler (Susan) and Rev. Karl Koehler (Kelly).
