He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Arthur Cooper, Sr. and Isabelle Culler Cooper. He is survived by: his wife Joy Cooper; his sons, Dr. Walter Arthur Cooper (Artie), James H. Cooper (Rebecca) and John Cooper; his grandchildren, Natalie Sneed, Dr. Courtney Hechler, Mitchell Cooper, Matthew Cooper, Graham Cooper and Prentiss Cooper; his great grandchildren, Alex Keipper, Lewis and Madelyn Hechler; and his siblings, Carolyn Copeland (Don) and Robert W. Cooper (Judy).
