He was predeceased by: his parents, Sandy and Nelda Britt Black; and his stepfather Boyce Black. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Turner Britt; his brother Gerald Black (Rene); his sons, David Wayne Britt and Jonathan Hoyt Britt (Lauren); and his grandchildren, Charlotte Benton Britt, David Wainwright "Wright" Britt and Jennings Wayne Britt.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in honor of Wayne's fight.
