William R. Davis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William R. Davis (Charlotte, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 9, 2026 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gordon Davis and Marjorie Davis; his siblings, Loretta, Norma and Bob; his wife Sue Davis; his children, Karen, Eric and Braden (Angela); and his grandchildren, Jasper and Nina Davis. He was also cherished by extended family, including his uncles and aunts, or walking down to his mother.
Founded by Bill, Sue and their partner Jo, he led a 130+ chorus for 3 shows a year, managing a way to keep everyone connected during COVID, and donating over $300, 000 to local charities.
It was Bill's wish that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St Jude's or Shriner's Hospital to help families of children with cancer.
