He is survived by: his significant other Ann; his children, Dr. William Katibah, III (Maria), Cindy Dolinger (Ronnie), Mark Katibah (Melissa) and Susan Wagoner of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Kristen, Hope, David, Meredith, Matthew Katibah (Sydney), Lara, William Dolinger (Lizzy), Kathleen Katibah, Karen Tate (Devin), Karla Simmons (Stephen), Keri Palomba (Nick) and Hayley Chittum (Vernon); his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Michael, Caleb Palomba, Asher Tate and Amelia Dolinger; his brother Dr. Eugene W. Katibah (Eileen); and his brother-in-law Abe Meide, Jr. (Pat) of Jacksonville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials, may be given to Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, Samaritan's Purse, and Charlotte Rescue Mission.
