He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Long, Sr. and Dorothy Maron Long. He is survived by: his wife Sue Garrard Long; his children, Christine Long, Beth Otto (Dean), Diana Jordan (Jack), Scott Hodges (Pam) and David Hodges (Stacy); and his grandchildren, Will Otto, Jack Choat, Grace Otto, Aiden Choat, Ella Jordan, Skylar Hodges, Liam Jordan and Joshua Hodges.
