He is survived by: his wife Durema Simmons Koger (Dee); his children, Keith (Amy) of Charlotte, Brian (Ann-Marie) of Portsmouth, VA, Laura Melton (Charles "Chuck") of Charlotte and Neal of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Christina Melton, Nick Melton (Amber), Noah Melton (Andria), Mary Koger and William Koger, III; and his great grandchildren, Lane Edward Melton, Milo Charles Melton, Hadleigh Ruby Melton and Selah Lynn Melton.
