He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillie Smith Moricle and Roscoe Moricle; his wife Brenda Coffey Moricle; and his son-in-law Marc Stanton. He is survived by: his daughters, Darien Moricle, Molli Bucher (Marty) and Julie Stanton-Ludden (Brian); his grandchildren, Hunter Newton, Dylan Newton, Darien Bucher, Will Bucher, Sean Stanton and Lily Stanton; his brother-in-law Richard Coffey (Jason Charneski); and his sibling's children, Chip Cardwell (Pattie) and Bunny Cardwell.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Covenant Presbyterian Church (1000 E Morehead St, Charlotte, NC 28204).
