With sadness, we share the passing of William Nash Sr. (Charlotte, North Carolina). William, born on February 16, 1950 in Pineville, North Carolina, passed away on September 24, 2026. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Nash and Minnie Nash; and his siblings, Alfred Nash, Lester Nash, Henry Nash (Debra), Virginia Brown (Nash), Susie Nash and Alberta Reed (Nash).
He is survived by: his wife Tricia Watkins Taylor-Nash; his children, James G. Nash, Pervis D. Nash and William Nash Jr. (Constance Grasso Nash); his sisters, Mildred McAfee (Willie) and Winnie Brailey (James); and his in-laws, Mary Katherine (Kitty) and Rev. Eva Givens Nash. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church (308 Johnston Dr, Pineville, NC 28134). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
