He is survived by: his children, Kim Gibson (Mark) of Denver, NC, Jennifer Peninger (Terry) of Stallings and Eric Shelton (Heather) of Charlotte; and his grandchildren, Kelsie Gibson, Alex Peninger, Katelyn Gibson, Chris Shelton and Hannah Peninger.
