She was predeceased by: her husband Grady James Helms. She is survived by: her children, Angela Melton, James Helms and Grady Helms; her grandchildren, Ashley, Christopher and Grady James Threatt; her great grandchildren, Zackary, Hunter, Isaac Threatt, Alana and Isiah Beasley; and her siblings, Edward Lawrence Brown and Ellen Hayes of Virginia.
