It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zarmine Liza Chamoun in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on May 2, 2026, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband John Chamoun; her sons, Raffi John Chamoun (Talin), Joseph Chamoun (Bessy) and Paul Sevag Chamoun (Lourin); her grandchildren, Elias, Emilia, Mary and Enzo Chamoun; and her siblings, Diran Jackmakjian, Avo Jackmakjian, Vartan Jackmakjian and Sylvie Avakian.
