It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Bigwitch of Cherokee, North Carolina, who passed away on September 13, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Bigwitch and Eva Bigwitch; and his siblings, Robert, Isaac, Fred, Richard, James, Lucy, Marie and Stacy Bigwitch.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Bigwitch; his daughter Ugnast Bigwitch of Cherokee; his grandsons, Kolbey Littlejohn, Eden Littlejohn and Little Charlie Bigwitch; his sister Peggy "Dolly" Littlejohn; his uncle Jim Bigwitch; and his close friends, Bo Lossiah and June Wolfe. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Cherokee Bible Church (1112 Olivet Church Rd, Whittier, NC 28789). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
