He was predeceased by: his father Jesse Franklin; and his brother Thomas "Frog" Franklin. He is survived by: his mother Mary Olvey Franklin; his wife Tinker Bradley-Howard Franklin; his daughters, Kimberly Middleton (Casey) of Sylva, Felica Hall (Josh) of Sylva and Patricia Farley (Heath) of Sylva; his stepsons, Evan of Cherokee and Jared Howard of Cherokee; his grandchildren, Chase, Bayleigh, Ruthie, Jordan, Jake and Macie; his sister Angela Tharp (Ben) of Fruitland, Florida; and the mother of his children Arlene Franklin. He is also survived by family and his good friends.
