She was predeceased by : her parents, Russell Smith and Elizabeth "Lizzie" French Smith; her siblings, Manuel Smith, Samuel Smith, Dyxye Parker, Shirlene Smith, Maxine Smith, Mary Smith McCoy and Lucy McLaughlin; her nephews, Joey Parker and Rick McCoy; her siblings-in-law, Joyce Smith and Jerome Parker; her great-nephew Bill Smith; and her close friend Babe Cabe.

She is survived by : her niece Lizzie McCoy Bernal (German Bernal); her grandchildren, Evelyn, Gracelyn, Yajaira, Myles, Marvin, Raelyn, Lucas, Taige, Tawodi, Jayla and Ryn; her brother Kenneth "Feet" Smith; her nieces and nephews, Vikki Smith, Terry Smith, Lisa Penick (Charles), Deidra Fowler, Myra Cloer (Mike), Kym Parker, Eddie Smith (Nellie) and Pam Smith; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Amanda Moore, Sam Wolfe, Rachel Taylor, Keisha Lambert, Eli McCoy, Cody Smith, Brandy Smith, Samantha Smith, Tabby Smith, Kristina Cloer and Sydney Bird. She is also survived by her caregivers and their children whom she considered her grandchildren.
