With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kendra Jean Taylor of Cherokee, North Carolina, who passed away on May 8, 2026 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her in-law Sherman "Goliath" Taylor; her father Philip D. Lukens; her father-in-law Sherman "Goliath" Taylor; her uncles, Frank and David Lukens; her aunt Donna Lukens; and her grandparents, Ruth, Philip Lukens, James and Claira McMullins.
She is survived by: her mother Brenda Lukens; her grandchildren, Adaline, Auron, Niyah and Izzy; her in-law Shirley Taylor; her siblings-in-law, Jonee Taylor, Consie Girty, Tim and Greg Taylor; her husband Tiny Taylor; her children, Alexandra Jernigan-Taylor (Melissa Jernigan-Taylor), Jordan Taylor and Nick Taylor (Chantelle); her mother-in-law Shirley Taylor; and her brothers, Mark Lukens and Jeff Lukens. She is also survived by grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and lifelong friends.
