With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Glenn Murphy (Cherokee, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 3, 2026 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Michael is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Louise Cline and Francis Joe Murphy; and his brother James Lee Murphy. He is survived by: his daughter Diana Murphy of Belton, SC; and his brothers, Billy Joe Murphy of Cherokee, Larry Murphy of Sylva and Joseph Murphy of Broken Arrow, OK.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
