Robert Cooper Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Cooper of Cherokee, North Carolina, who passed away on June 15, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Cooper to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Cooper and Myrtle Keener Cooper of Cherokee; and his siblings, Jesse Clement of Cherokee, Dixie Arneach of Cherokee, Sue Owle of Cherokee, Barbra Strickland of Cherokee, Frances Collins of Franklin and James A. Cooper of Cherokee.
He is survived by: his siblings, Wilma Morris and Candler R. Cooper of Cherokee; his sons, Robert A. "Noodle" Cooper (Tina Bridges) of Cherokee and Casey M. Cooper (Jill Carpenter) of Cherokee; and his grandchildren, Katherine, Jackson and Mary. He is also survived by his sons, their wives and his grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crisp Funeral Home (669 US-19, Bryson City, NC 28713). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Olivet United Methodist Church (811 Olivet Church Rd, Whittier, NC 28789).
